The Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-600C is part of the Klipsch Reference Premiere 2018. In addition to aesthetic enhancements, the new Klipsch Reference Premiere range features a brand new LTS tweeter. This center speaker delivers ultra-precise sound, which is ideally suited for the dialogue of movies and TV series. It delivers a more dynamic and powerful sound than the Klipsch RP-500C.
The Klipsch Reference Premiere series speakers feature a molded, molded silicone face that mates with the Tractrix 90×90 horn to reduce horn resonance for a smoother frequency response. Klipsch’s computer-modeled phase plugs act as a mechanical filter to ensure smooth, flat frequency response while protecting the tweeter from damage.

What is Cerametallic?
Klipsch Cerametallic ™ cones are paired with a two-layer copper voice coil for outstanding conductivity. Reference Premiere woofers are housed in a non-resonant stamped steel basket, attached to a large magnetic motor for exceptional efficiency and low distortion, and adapted to our horn tweeters for optimal acoustic performance.
The Reference Premiere range has been the core of Klipsch’s offering for years. The compact speakers, column, central, surround or Atmos that compose it benefit from sophisticated technologies, very powerful. This is the case of the Cerametallic bass-midrange speaker. This technology involves a ceramic membrane, by nature ultra-rigid and conducive to low distortion, combined with a thin layer of pulverized copper.
New Tweeter On Tractrix Horn
This is also the case for the titanium dome tweeter and LTS suspension (Long Travel Suspension), mounted on the Tractrix acoustic horn. As a reminder, the pavilion makes it possible to exploit the lower frequency tweeter – which improves the transient regime of the midrange – by improving its efficiency mechanically. Diffused midrange and treble frequencies also lessen with distance, allowing the Klipsch RP-600C speaker to be used several meters away, while maintaining clarity and vibrancy. The novelty is based on the rear cavity of the tweeter (the compression chamber) which is now granted, either open. Thus, stationary waves are reduced, as well as the generation of undesirable harmonic waves. The diffused sound is soft and precise, a character reinforced by the silicone shock absorbing lining.
