The klipsch name has proved itself to be insurmountable and indomitable since the second World War. It all started in Hope Arkansas, when the founder Paul Kliipsch devoted his life’s work to the improvement of horn-loaded tweeters and combining them into speaker enclosures.

“An unquestionable success, the Klipschorn®, patented in 1945, is still considered by many to be the finest loudspeaker ever made and is the only speaker in the world that has been in continuous production for over 60 years. ” – Klipsch.com

Klipsch when initially developed catered to a small audience of move enthusiasts. The klipsch speakers were very marvelous but these high end systems could be afforded by only a handful of people who were well-aware of the excellence of their products so they bought them with alacrity. Klipsch however had something bigger in mind, they worked hard and eventually made their way into all arenas of sound. Today Klipsch speakers are used in movie theaters, live music venues, recording studios and a multitude of homes.

Performance and Sound Quality:

Klipsch is not only concerned about efficiency of their products but they also want to produce speakers which look spectacular and captivating. Klipsch therefore have designed slim speakers which are just wonderful with your flat-screen TV. This manufacturing was accompanied with numerous other amendments to the normal way or methods deployed by companies to manufacture speakers which produce a rather banal and unimpressive sound. Klipsch is distinguished in the speaker industry because they deploy horn tweeters. In Klipsch Gallery G-28, a horn augments the tweeter’s efficiency remarkably, when they are also integrated with woofers which have congruous efficiency then you can easily drive a horn speaker to high levels with just a few watts of power. The horn’s importance is irrefutable and undeniable because it controls the tweeter’s dispersion elegantly, this enables a relatively smoother and easier transition between the woofer and tweeter.

The design of Klipsch G-28 is a flat panel speaker which made the fitting of the horn quite a problem. The engineers however seemed unbothered by the complexity of this task and soon they devised and molded a tweeter horn which could easily fit into the grandiose injection-molded cabinet. This exceptional Dynamic 1″ tweeter is accompanied by a 3.5″ high-output woofer on either side which makes for a pretty tremendous and stunning combination. The bass of these woofers is enforced and supplemented by 4 slim passive radiators.

Appearance and placement options:

The Klipsch G-28 is a speaker which offers a large number of options for its placement and you get to choose according to your unique taste and décor requirement. The sleek modern lines while occupying minimal space is both elegant and remarkable. The injection molded cabinet which has a very stylish high-gloss finish and is curved on its sides which presents a highly majestic aesthetic appearance, this also has the added benefit of giving a slow flow resonance structure. The astonishingly thin grille is acoustically invisible, it’s just a think black fabric with a steel rod sewn into each end. The most admirable thing about the grille is perhaps how the sonic quality remains completely constant and does not waver if you attach the grille or take it off. The wired channel management system is absolutely stunning and keeps wiring flushed with the rear of the speaker so that the whole system looks flawless and immaculate and the listening experience doesn’t have any annoying distractions. Normally with flat sized speakers the quality is largely deteriorated and sometimes even despicable however with Klipsch G-28 the crossover system brings your entire audio experience to life.

The speakers can be placed horizontally or vertically with the aid of a small stand which is provided with the Klipsch G-28 speaker. They are provided with a robust and sturdy stand which could be used to hang it from a wall while checking the structural integrity of the wall opposite that wall, wall mount brackets are also provided .If you look on the back of the gallery line speakers you will find that they have keyholes for wall placement with screws so a lot of flexibility is provided for their placement.

The klipsch G-28 can be used as left, right or center channel speaker.
