The reference premiere series is another outstanding addition to Klipsch center channel speakers.

Appearance and Performance:

The Klipsch RP 250c has a different horn. They have replaced the classic 60×90 Tractrix® horn with a 90×90 horn for a wider dispersion area. This square horn mouth is integrated with a circular horn throat for amplifying the sound-staging, while maintaining the dynamic, invigorating sound of a typical klipsch speaker.

The resilient and enduring grilles magnetically detach uncovering a clean baffle, the magnets have been embedded within the baffle so that they don’t appear out of place and the simplicity of the whole setup is not ruined, this also reduces immensely the high frequency diffraction.

Klipsch Reference Premiere Speakers

The horn is elegantly designed using a rubber material which completely removes any chance or likelihood of resonance. The baffle treatment on reference premiere speakers is just astonishing and wonderful, it is free of all fasteners. There are no screws conspicuous and the whole thing seems to be put together by some preternatural mechanism. There are no grill fasteners. The combination of a wood grain polymer veneer with a brushed polymer veneer is just spectacular and exceptional, everything has been built from ground up using the latest acoustic engineering and design trends. There are some other marvelous and splendid characteristic features which are specific only to Reference Premiere RP-250C center channel speakers. MDF Cabinet with Brushed Polymer Veneer Baffle Finish gives these speakers a phenomenal and exceptional appearance, they look just wonderful with any décor they are placed in. They are adaptable to their surroundings and give the place a luxurious and comfortable look which has a relaxing effect. The hybrid Tractrix® horn, the new face plug, the 1″ Linear Travel Suspension Titanium Tweeter, Dual 5.25″ Spun Copper Cerametallic Cone Woofers, the Tractrix flare on the rear port all contribute and assemble together to form a marvelous sound producing masterpiece.

Flawless Sound Quality:

I feel really proud as a product manager, as an artist, as a musician to be a part of the development of the reference premier line. I love recording music, I love capturing that sound of performance. I love recreating the energy of a live band, being a musician and being a songwriter and being a recording engineer is all about recreating that live music experience, that thrill that you feel as a performer on stage ,I think the reference premier series do that particularly well with the redesigned tractrix horn ,you’re hearing exactly the source material that the artist, the record producer , the engineer ,the movie director intended you to hear.

-Michael Burrato, Product manager

I understood what this statement meant when I used the Reference Premiere RP-250C center channel speaker, myself because it is totally understandable that with our busy lives we can hardly make time to enjoy live performances but fortunately and auspiciously, companies like klipsch are fully cognizant of the demanding need to make virtual and audio experience more and more realistic, more reliable and endearing. The artist works laboriously and enthusiastically utilizing his creative genius and his valuable time to make a song or an art piece for your amusement, numerous times he faces failure but doesn’t let that failure stop him or slow him down, he works adamantly till he achieves the immaculate and flawless music he’s after. Klipsch wants to ensure that the originality of those tracks remain unchanged, that audience hears what the artist intended them to hear, Klipsch premiere series ascertains that no modifications are made when the sound comes out of your speaker.
